The scenic McKenzie River, a tributary of the Willamette River, flows westward from Oregon’s Cascade Mountains through majestic Douglas-fir forests and past this beautifully designed home. When it came time to replace the home’s aging composition roof, the homeowner chose a galvanized steel roofing system finished with a Kynar 500® paint system. In a heavily forested environment, wildfire is an important consideration, and metal roofing offers a durable, noncombustible roofing solution that can provide an added measure of protection when fire threatens. Meticulous attention to detail throughout the installation resulted in a roof that beautifully complements the home’s architecture and natural surroundings while providing the durability and long-lasting performance of metal roofing.
